A Happy Heart

Laughter is contagious. I have learned that by sharing our laughter we connect together and lift our spirits. Laughter can help us forget our problems, if only for a few minutes it’s worth it. Laughter can help safeguard us against the damaging effects of stress and worry. Laughter cannot be purchased. It’s free. It’s a gift.

Every day, we should have a good laugh. I’m not implying that we should laugh at others misfortunes. Just the contrary, there is much to laugh about. So go ahead and have one of those belly-shaking laughs. It’ll do you good. Share a laugh with that special someone, with your friend, with your co-worker, with your classmate, with that stranger beside you. The side effects will be a happier you and hopefully a happier them.
